Chrysanthemums, commonly called mums, are a cool season perennial flower. Place this plant in full sun and water when dry. Deadhead mums to promote addional blooming. Each order comes with two 3-quart containers. Items ship pre-bloom and slightly smaller than images shown and will grow into mature plants.
- Sun - for maximum blooming, ensure mums are receiving full sun daily (at least 6-hours)
- Watering - water every other day when planted in the garden, check often to prevent from drying out
- Usage - use these fall mums to create larger containers or add fall color to the garden
- Spacing - when planting in a garden, space 2 ft. apart as mums will increase in size
- Hardiness - hardy in USDA zones 5-9, use mulch around the base during winter months to protect roots from frost
